Should Houses Be Shown In 3-D!!!

Just think about it! What if you could present your house in 3-D? Talk about curb appeal! The house would just jump right out at home buyers as soon as they pulled up. Maybe you could have some popcorn and soda waiting on them and really make a great impression. God knows the popcorn and soda is where the theaters make their money so why not you?

I have to admit this is an idea that is still in it’s infancy so I guess we need to take it one step at a time. But in the mean time I guess I’ll explain why I bring this idea to the forefront of forward thinking Poinciana home sellers. Today I showed a few houses to a buyer (that’s him with the 3-D glasses) and one of the houses really stood out against the rest. But not for the reason you may think.

It was a short sale and vacant so we went right in to start having a good look around. What we found was a house painted with so many colors it made your eyes hurt and trash all over the floor in almost every room. The buyer found those bad boys in the master bedroom. The seller hadn’t even bothered to pick up the trash and sweep.

In most cases a seller won’t get any proceeds after the sale of a short sale, but you should still try to get as much for the home as you can. We visited 9 homes today and this one was in the worst shape and we didn’t give it a second thought after we closed the front door behind us. No offer coming for that seller. If the trash had been picked up they may have had a chance.
